so here i a Xmas day in the uk, one son is very depressed at nearly 18 he has irritable bowl syndrome and imagines his social life is over, the other at 26 is thankfully not suicidal as he was last Xmas, he is in recovery but still very depressed. My BPD (87) mother is bedridden, incontinent completely deaf and this will be her last Xmas, my BPD narcissist father (91) is allegedly looking after Mum which means he does nothing the house is a filthy tip. My older brother has just been re diagnosed with Cancer so starts Chemo after Xmas, my sister in law has stage 4 breast and bone cancer now in the 7 th year remarkably. Last year my BPD ex gf had just recovered from a suicide attempt and my wife and i were separated at the time, we have since recociled or i think i would have done myself in by now. So thanks BPD Family you have all helped keep me going in 2013 the worst year of my life so far, 2014 isnt looking great! Be strong

Oh my goodness, Calm Waters! That's terrible! I guess the only thing you can do is try to focus on the positive - your 26 year old is doing better and you are reconciled with your wife. Small mercies, I know, but sometimes that's all we have to hold on to.

Happy Christmas to you!
