I'd just like to add a little comment to the last one, which said something on the lines of that love comes to those who still believe after being hurt... . We still believe in love, but not for the same person.

Frankly, it is them.
All of their relationships are guaranteed to fail because of their disorder.
Sure, we could have done things differently or better within the relationship, but ultimately it wouldn't have made a difference.
To put it bluntly, they just aren't capable of having a good relationship.
