I have been wanting to leave my undBPDh for two years. At one point I was ready to leave but he got suspicious and isolated the money. I can't get any large sums from our accounts without his signature. I can't work due to health problems. The lawyer I saw said it could take 6 months to get a judge to force him to give me spouse support and child support. He keeps telling me to leave, just to be mean. So I was thinking of getting the lawyer to write up separation papers with very excessive support demands. I'm hoping this will make him mad enough to leave or to give me some money to leave. Anyone here with suggestion?

Welcome

I am not sure your location, but you  may want to speak to a different lawyer... . at least in the US, it won't take that long for temporary orders.
