VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

DH's uBPDex told SS13 last week that if he wants to stay with us, just tell her and she'll quit fighting it since it will be so expensive to get a lawyer (she's in work release and her house is being foreclosed on).

Poor SS is too scared to tell her.  We've told our attorney, so if she's there, he is going to bring it up and tell her that is what SS wants, but that he's afraid to tell her himself.  Hoping for an agreement, but sure don't have my hopes up!

Good luck!

Money will only effect her behavior if she is caught in a more rational mood. Telling her that her child is afraid of her could very well cause a blowup. At the same time you obviously have to try everything you can to get a settlement. Just remember that if it doesn't work this time then there is still plenty of time for her to come around about it later when the pressure of a court date moves things along.
