worked around something requiring contact

I have been successfully NC with my uBPDexbf for 6 weeks. The title to my car has both our names on it and I went to register it yesterday and they are requiring that I have his name taken off before I can register it in the state I'm in. So I had to get in touch with him so he could fill out a form for me. But my brother was kind enough to contact him for me so that I don't have to deal with it. Even knowing my brother was in touch with him sort of has me triggered. It's been 8 months since we broke up and we recycled about 4 times with him claiming he was going to marry me every time etc. I think he's dating someone now so he's left me alone and maybe he will continue to. But it's still difficult and I do check his FB and dating site profiles sometimes still. Wishing I was totally over him but still think about him daily. Nevertheless, I'm glad to have family that's helpful so I didn't have to email him and deal with this directly with him. I'm sure something even this small would have sent me into a tailspin.

Hi Tango,
Glad your brother was able to help you out - it is nice to have trusted folks around us when we are detaching.
Speaking of detaching, at 6 weeks out - where would you put yourself in the 5 stages seen on the right hand page?
Peace,
SB

May #2 still. I still think about my ex daily and ruminate a LOT and have fantasies of hearing from him and working things out one day, etc. Basically, I still have not let it go completely. It's very frustrating.

Yeah, it takes time to work through - 6 weeks is not that long really in the big picture.
Self-Inquiry - emotions... . what emotions are you feeling when you think about him?
