I am wondering if any of you have had experience with Willow Springs inpatient adolescent DBT program? I have a 13yo who I am almost certain will be going there. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

hi christi13
i can't speak to that program, but if you visit our parenting board,
Parenting a son or daughter suffering from BPD board
, you may get informed opinion. there is also a sub-board there, right at the top of the page, with information about individual programs.

UPDATE: My daughter spent almost 3 months at Willow Springs in the summer of 2014. It was an absolute nightmare. I do not recommend sending your child here. I would be happy to provide more detail should anyone be interested.
Roger's Memorial in Wisconsin has a residential DBT program called Nashotah that was life changing for my daughter. I HIGHLY recommend that place.

Thanks for this update christi13!
I am sorry your daughter had that bad experience in the summer of 2014. Fortunately she later went to another place and your experiences there were more positive. Sometimes it takes time to find the right (place of) treatment for a BPD child.
How is your daughter doing now?
Take care
