Death in the Family and Effects..?

Well in the past couple of post I have said that we have been on a fantasy with each other almost like when my BPD wife and I started dating... . we had a couple of minor things happen in a four week period but almost normal... no rage etc just couples spat which in ten mins all was good... . I main question is anyone ever had a loved one of your BPD spouse pass away... its almost like an extreme 0 to 140... . first it was the picking fights and rages and now its so deep down depression I feel so helpless and of couse I cant help if I say anything its attack time on myself... . does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to comfort her without the beast coming out... . I love her deeply and hate seeing her hurt... .
