What was the most appealing thing about my ex that hooked me from the very start?

I'd say her nice/sweet personality. She was the nicest person I had ever met.

What was the most horrible thing about my ex that really made me miserable at the very end?

Her uncontrollable rages. She became the most scariest person I had ever met.

I think I am doing ok. Under 2 weeks ago I posted that I was in fear that my wife will one day come to my new home and murder me here.

That is a very realistic possibility. The solution though, instead of dreading this and having it affect me so much was to put my faith in God and understand He is in control. He saved me from an abusive relationship before it was too late. I face the facts, go easy on myself and have faith in God. I also find it is very therapeutic for me to do exercises like the attempt at humor in this thread. It helps me vent, look at things in a less serious way and have a needed laugh.

Is there anything in her background or your relationship that would suggest this?  Why do you think this?

What would drive her to do this?

Do you think she is irrational and dangerous?  Or are your fears irrational?
