Hi All,

Back again after long time away.  It's still with mixed feelings that I return.  I read a few random posts and am awestruck by the depth and breadth of similarities... .while at the same time struggling to keep myself from fixating on not just the drama/trauma but the rehashing of confusion creating chaotic events ranging from subtle manipulation to out right psychosis, and not losing myself by going down that worm hole of further wasted time and energy spent on ruminations over events of the past over which I have no control versus my own self-care.  But here I come.

Earlier this year, I believe it was on the divorce boards here, I saw a very succinct paragraph or two.  It described some rationale and outcomes on the topic of "Reduced Future Earnings" of individuals who have suffered types of domestic abuses and the untoward impact these events might have on the victims future adjustment and aspirations of self-sufficiency.

If this rings a bell can you please refer me to where I might retrieve that post?  I would also appreciate any references or source that might provide some future hard statistical data or sound theoretical support regarding this premise.  Thanks all.

Still shaky,

Knowledge is power!
