So I have been absent for a few weeks, and that is a good thing I think.

We have been two weeks now with no drama.

I am not sure if it is because she is regulating somewhat or if it is the calm before the storm, but no matter what the reason, the peace has been nice.

I just wanted to say hello, and to tell you all I am stopping by to read your posts, and comment where I feel I am able to  contribute. It's just nice being able to pop in and say hello with no drama of my own for a change.

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

That's great-I do wonder if part of it was adjusting to the idea of the new baby- and you HAVE been working very hard on using the communication tools Smiling (click to insert in post)

I'm so glad to hear this!  We have to celebrate every moment of peace between the chaos.  Raising my champagne glass to you! Cheers.

I agree with Lever that your use of the skills are probably making a difference too.   Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

I'm so glad you posted your good news.  It really helps give me hope, hearing when some of the worst situations get better.

So very happy to hear good news.  It gives all of us hope---I truly hope this continues for you. I know from your other posts that you have worked very hard to increase your communication and validation skills.  Continue to take care of yourself.  Here's hoping and praying that it will continue!
