VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

We read about enmeshment and the importance of detaching while we journey through the healing process.  So…what was the best part of YOUR day?  We have been buried and consumed by the BPD world.  Now for the NON... .What did you do to nourish YOUR soul today?

I'll start:  the best parts of my day were taking my old dog on a long walk in the glorious sunshine and embracing the awareness of the sense of peace that my new life affords me AND having bpdfamily to get me through the rough patches.

It wasn't long ago that I was unaware of what BPD was and I remember the torturous moments of each day before I found this forum.  Lots to be grateful for today and looking forward Being cool (click to insert in post)

I really felt like running away to the mountains today but wasn't able to (hoping to tomorrow though for a good hike)... .so I read a great book (The emotionally abused woman) with lots of self-reflection & had a great talk with my very supportive best friend.
