Just found this quote from member from early 2011-

"Borderlines jump from one relationship to another, sometimes without telling their previous partner. Just because she says she's separated for 5 years doesn't mean that her Husband knows."

So very true. My ex was pissed at me that I felt hurt how quickly she might move on. She said, "but we have been broken up for so long". And I was left wondering... .where did we get back together, when did we break up, when did she ever commit, or what were all the recycles. In all these things, being together or not being together is just a blur. She might tell her current person that she was with me three years back. When the reality is that we were together last month.

Its an useful quote for any future relationships honestly.
