Praise the Lord.

I emailed exh information about the house, why it has not sold, that the selling price is right, and what the trends and patterns are for houses in a 10 mile radius of my home.

Game 1

He tried to play nice (which he has not the last few times we have emailed)

Tried to 'sucker me in'.

Didn't work.

Game 2

He tried to manipulate me and play on my fears.

("my truck is broke and I can't help get you guys out of the snow"

Didn't work

Game 3

He tried to accuse me of things HE did.

He tried to drag the kids into the conversation.

He tried to blame me for everything.

Didn't work.

I told him I was not taking the bait, that I will not pass along any more information if he cannot have an adult discussion with me, and that THIS conversation was over.

And I stopped replying.

I continued on with my day... .I didn't ruminate, I did not second guess myself, I didn't feel compelled to continue talking to him or to defend myself... .

I just walked away from it.

He didn't 'trigger' me into a spiral of depression.

He didn't manipulate me into giving him what he wanted.

He didn't make me feel guilty, bad, wrong, stupid, angry... .nothing.

Praise the Lord, for His Protection I pray so often for.

Praise the Lord, for His Forgiveness, I pray so often to be able to extend.

Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord!
