Great question sandman. I often wonder that myself. I will say that I am a changed person. I will never be the same happy go lucky person I was before my BPD. I have scars now and I am very aware of them and the itch every now and then to remind me what she put me through.

But what is normal?  Normal is what you make it. You get to define what normal is in your life. When you were with your BPD they set the standard for normal now it is your turn. So normal is what you want it to be.

I will say that hardest part for me has been dating. I don't know how to do normal dating anymore. I get nervous if I don't get constant texts or calls. I have to remind myself that is not normal. It's crazy.

If anything, I'm pretty happy I can spot these people from a mile away now.
