Hi nona,

I'm sorry I can't help. I'm in Alberta.

Are you looking for a Custody Evaluator in the lower mainland, the interior or the island?

Are you doing a research paper?

I am in a custody battle with UBPDX.

with parental alienation.

I am in the interior and most likely will be hiring someone to travel from the lower mainland or the island... eek.

I wish I were writing a research paper.

I could at this point LOL

Thanks

Here are therapists who are listed as having psych eval experience. You'll have to sift through and find the ones that do forensic psych (like custody evaluations):

www.therapists.psychologytoday.com/rms/prof_results.php?state=BC&spec=303

If you go to the BCPA website, you can search for therapists with expertise in custody assessment. Here are five results from doing that search:

Be cautious... .

My ex spent thousands of dollars on a custody evaluation, and the guy totally skewed things so bad that IMHO it is blatant unethical behavior.

Nona, ... .I am, too, in the  BC interior.  I have done well with custody. I got FULL custody recently.  Use The Ministry of Children and Family Development (Social Services).  Tell them EVERYTHING meaning the truth. It worked for me.  BPD's version of the truth usually is quite tainted and not believable at all.  Private message me if you wish. I may be of some help.

You may want to find out all you want about a Section 15. This will be my trump card eventually, if it comes to that (Supreme Court).  Family court is a joke. Supreme court is not. Judges are very well versed in Supreme Court.  Anything that was ruled in family court can EASILY be overturned in Supreme Court as the judges are excellent.

Agents at The Ministry will ask for several (usually 6) non-family contacts for references (and they will call them to discuss you, your spouse, children and experiences).   This costs you nothing.  Getting a written up report (to be submitted to the courts) costs you nothing.

It is government agency that simply works on behalf of the children and their best interests (NOT yours nor your spouse).

In my case, they didn't even call the 1st contact on my list (my well respected personal doctor) as they knew who he was and the ministry agents knew what the conversation would be like anyway. As well, they did not need to call/contact any of the other 5 either.  They believed my side of the situation and they did not believe my wife as she buried herself in any conversation they had with her. They also tried to make a list of references for my spouse but she wouldn't give them not one reference (which made her look so bad).

My current trump card is my social services report. This is government document that NO judge can ignore. Period. It is a report card for the living conditions of the children, sort of speak, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and so on.
