We have a great Library of Suggested Reading for the members of the Parenting a Son or Daughter with BPD Board. Have you had the chance to check out the Feature Articles that are linked to under the 4 photos at the top of the threads? Supporting a Child in Therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder is helpful to any parent of a child (adult or younger) with BPD or BPD traits. Whether or not your child is in Therapy, this primer is perfect for getting a handle on just why you are seeing the behaviors you are seeing in her/him, and what you need to understand to be able to navigate those minefields. And to help your child in the process. I just love that Article!

Members are also encouraged to purchase one of the four books listed below. While much of the material is covered in the various articles and workshops here at bpdfamily.com, a book provides a comprehensive and balanced overview of the subject matter and will help you as you are working here.  If you click through on the link, it will take you to our book finder service which will then direct you to the lowest priced seller on the Internet. bpdfamily.com does not take a commission, advertising fee or otherwise profit from book sales - we just think it's a good idea for your family.

And don't forget to check out our Lessons, and all of the other links to the right-hand side of this page.

Do you have a favorite book about BPD, raising our children, dealing with our own issues, etc., that you would like to share? Has something (a book, Article or Workshop on this site, or something else) changed your whole perception of things--and your life--that you would recommend to other parents on this site? I would love to hear about it on this thread, if you do... .
