EFT therapy for couples

Hello, I usually post something a couple times a year, but hang around this site daily. I absorb insights through the posts in Staying: How to improve... .. Been very helpful for me!
Married 30 years, with the last 14 spent in couples therapy with 5 different therapists. All initiated by the wife and all fired by the wife. Usually takes two or three years and when it looks like her pathological behaviors become more and more evident she fires the therapist. Just when things are looking like progress (for me anyhow) she feels abandoned (dropped) by the therapist, a critical letter is written and we are done.
So, to get to the point. She wants us to see a therapist trained in EFT. Emotional Focused Therapy. They promise things will get better in a shorter time I using this approach. That sounds good to me though I am getting a bit burned out with past failures.
My question to you all, is there any success with this kind of therapy when one spouse has BPD?
Thank you all for any feedback!

Hi steev
I'm not familiar with EFT, either. I'm glad to see you reaching out for support though! And hope to see you around here more often than a couple times a year
The insights found through the posts are very helpful, no doubt. Have the "Lessons" helped your relationship get to more solid ground, also?
What seem to be the biggest hurdles you're facing? On a day-to-day basis?
We are here for support.
