I told her to id call the cops and she flipped out.She has yet to get an appt with her psych , she has a counselor but she cant prescribe meds. Her appt with psych is in 2 days. icuqueen, welcome! I'm sorry things have been so difficult for you. I don't know what's happening, but I can tell you that you've come to the right place to get words of wisdom and compassionate feedback.
It's a blessing that your wife has been diagnosed and that she has a counselor and a psychiatrist that she'll be working with. Keep in mind that although it's a relief to know that the craziness has now been defined~~given a name~~it's very difficult for one to accept that they are broken. She's probably running through a gambit of emotions right now.
I understand that your patience is running out, but take heart... .and read everything you can about BPD. The lessons one this site have proven invaluable to me. I hope that you'll find solace in knowing that you're not alone. We're all here for the same reason.
