Just a thought... .
my uBPDh said that I was happy and life was good as long as it was going my way. DUH! Is that such a foreign concept? Doesn't everyone love life more when things are going well? When things are as they imagined? I know I'm a bit of an idealist, but I am a Pollyanna and always try to look on the bright side. Was this just something he was saying to confuse or hurt me?

sounds like he may be looking for a new button to push? imo. or maybe he was projecting? maybe he's upset because everything should go
his
way not yours?

My suggestion is not to waste too much time in what was his intent when he said what he did. Because if he is not well, does it really make a difference what kind of non sense he is saying when he is upset?

He's definitely found a new button to push! He's making new rules that I must follow or "get out." :'( He's in a foul mood and I'm not sure what's triggered it. I'm definitely being painted black. I'm not sure how this will play out.

I tend to say this to my uBPD husband a lot. Maybe yours was projecting?
As long as my husband is "happy" (I put that in quotes cause I don't think he's ever truly happy) all is good in his world. He never cares if I'm happy or not.

Well... .it's like last night didn't happen. This morning he slept in and when he got up I'd already done a day's worth of chores. I said good morning to him and he seemed startled but said good morning in return. Everything is back to 'normal' again! After I made him breakfast, I gave him a hug and a kiss and told him that I loved him and he said he loves me too. Go figure! The roller coaster ride continues~~hanging on tight!
