Hi Anando440

Welcome back here. I am sorry that you're feeling tired and depressed though as a result of having to deal with your BPD brother.

Has your brother been officially diagnosed with BPD or perhaps some other disorder? You say he doesn't want to do any psychotherapy or DBT. Do you feel like he in any way acknowledges that he might have certain issues?

You mention his drinking of alcohol and extorting money from your mother. How long has this been going on? When did your brother's difficult behaviors start?

It can be very difficult dealing with a BPD family-member. This can really take a toll on the entire family so I can definitely understand why you are affected so. I am glad you are reaching out for support here and I think many of our members will be able to relate to what you're going through.

Anando440 Sorry to hear about your situation, it must be very difficult for you. If you are depressed are you getting help for that ? Dr's have loads of stuff to help, and if you clear up your depression, that's got to be a step in the right direction. All my best to you. Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)
