Hi folks.

  I think that I am finally reaching a healthy level of detachment from my dBPDex.  I went through the stages of grieving over the last 9 months, with heavy doses of anger and bargaining (wanting her back).  My ex has had a couple of terrible r/s in the mean time but recently she has met someone that seems like a decent guy and she is in therapy.  Rather than feeling the green eyed monster of jealousy I am actually quiet happy for her and hope that it works out.  This is a nice feeling, finally being able to file away that old r/s into the past and moving on with my life.  I know not everyone is able to keep their ex on the radar, some here have had way too much happen for that but in my case we still keep in touch and have a distant but respectful friendship.  It has been a hell of a climb but I love this feeling.  I think that I have reached acceptance for all that was.

   All of us face a unique journey to recovery but with diligence and self care there is a bright future for each of us.  Thanks to all the bright folks on this board who have helped me get this far, I wish each of you equal success and more.
