Just wanted to say thanks to you guys and girls on the this forum.  You have been a great source of help to me. You people understand and give such good advice. I know it's soon ( 3 months out of a 6 year r/s ) but I feel something has shifted in me. I really don't want to give him anymore thought. I know there will be times and days when I feel sad but that feeling of despair is lifting and I wouldn't be feeling this way if it wasn't for you guys

I'm really glad to hear that you are starting to feel better!  That's wonderful.  It helps a lot to talk.  I poured my heart out here after my breakup and it was very needed.  People in "real life" just weren't able to understand the magnitude of what I was dealing with, even as they tried to be supportive.  I'm glad that you are finding support here too.  These are really tough breakups.

Keep posting and hope to hear more about how you're doing.

Thanks again not saying in won't feel down some days or a bit melancholy at times in fact I feel that way now as a football game is playing now ( soccer to my american friends ) and his team are winning, but that gut wrenching pain I'm working hard to put that behind me. The warmth of feeling on here is amazing. I will continue to post and book in. As a 47 year old woman this is the first forum I have joined and what a life saver it has been
