hi the wife wBPD saw this

she believes she will only be in remission not fixed.

is this true or is this a belief?

how do i handle it?

I would copy posts from people who have succesfully gone through treatment and show her these. The more you find the more hope it will give her. I wouldnt give her the website as she may wander and read other posts that are less hopeful for her. Print them off and give her a folder full of them that she can read whenever she wants to.

I think the video at the top of the link page is useful. It talks about remission and then recovery if you watch it all the way through.  The bottom line is we can't influence our partners thinking, only they can.

thanks guys, yes i saw that in the video but i got a message and phone call at 4 am. anyway i have re iterated it is two stages remission to stop new issues arising and then recovery dealing with past issues.

but these are really hopeful signs

i am starting to be happy and have hope
