Staying in touch with her family and friends?

ex-wife wBPD and I broke up about a year ago. The break-up was going ok at the beginning then it went for ___. Suffice to say we are not in best term, and I have kept NC with her unless its matters related to the divorce.
I was in very good terms with my in-laws (I was the son they never had) her extended family (mainly her cousins) and some of her friends but as a result of the NC and since the divorce is not settled yet, I haven't spoken to them for a few months now.
Once the divorce is settled, I made the decision to cut her off my life completely.
Those of you that cut their ex SO wBPD out of their lives, did you stay in touch with their family and friends or not ?

Hey lior, If you haven't been painted black already, it's likely you will be as your divorce proceeds. As I"m sure you know. pwBPD can be very convincing about how terrible you are and sometimes they actually believe their own lies and exaggerations. So what I'm saying is you are up against some roadblocks in terms of keeping in touch with her family and friends. It might be possible, but only if those folks are skeptical of what the pwBPD is telling them.

I didn't have the opportunity to decide: after unfriending all of my friends on social media, she convinced all 35 or so of hers to unfriend me and painted me black to all of them.

I talk to my ex's sister every once and a while on Facebook. I never really was close to her mom (who is clearly a pwBPD from my understanding of the disorder), so we don't keep in touch.
My mother and my ex's father also keep up. They became pals during me and my ex's relationship, and I'm glad that they still talk. Funny dynamic to witness there.
I think that my ex still keeps a lose correspondence with my mom, as well, but I can't be sure.
