so I am over 2 months out of an almost five year relationship and something very odd happened yesterday... .

I was sitting in my vehicle and looking for something that I had put between the seats.  I found the item, but I also found a ring she had given me several years ago.  The ring had broken probably 3 years ago and I had it tossed in the console of my old vehicle.

Now before we split I bought a new vehicle and she had driven the old one for a short time.  When I cleaned out the old one I do not remember seeing the ring... .and it's not something I would have transferred.   I have detailed my new vehicle several times thouroughly since we split up and yet  never saw that ring in there.

But yesterday the ring was is my new car... .and it was no longer broken.  It was bent like crazy, but the pearl design had been repaired/replaced.

Bizarre.  It has been over 60 NC. and I can not think of any reason why that ring would have shown up in my new car than other from her placing it there. It was laying there out in plain sight.  And she knows well that I have a tendency to leave my vehicle unlocked.

The ring didn't trigger me really other than to simply just surprise the hell out of me.  And now I am curious if anything similar has happened to anyone else.

Well bizarre is right! That certainly is bizarre.

I wouldn't put it past my ex to do something like that... .but nothing like that has happened to me.

This may be tmi, but, before we met I had a "toy". . When we moved into a new apartment together it disappeared. We then moved again about 2 years later. After all the packing and unpacking I never saw it again, I figured it got thrown out. After we broke up I reaaranged my closet and dresses, since his stuff was gone. I took all my clothes out, sorted, refolded, threw out ssome, etc. The morning of our first court hearing I opened my dresser for a shirt and there was my " toy" sitting right on top of my folded shirts. The day before I had passed him on my way out of town for a Dr appointment. I was gone for hours that day.

rarsweet... .

If you had already  broken up at the time of this discovery, were you still living together?  If not, how do you imagine he had access to your dresser?  Does he have keys?

troubling story

Nope we weren't living together. He had taken the deadbolt out of the front door when he left. The actual inner part, it looked from the outside like it was still in there. My door is very easy to pick if the deadbolt isn't used. I was able to pick it one day with my debit card just to test it. Deadbolt is now replaced. My mom actually noticed the deadbolt was missing one day when she babysat. I took pictures, of course the judge didn't care. My moms apartment was broken into a couple of months ago, someone left a stack of 13 envelopes, my mail, on her counter. All medical bills from last year, my daughters birth. A unopened, in perfect condition.
