  Hey family! Neveragainthanks/RR here. I've been finding myself needing to spending less time reading posts and posting even less. I hope that means my recovery is heading towards the right direction! My ongoing recovery wouldn't have been possible without your stories and support 

I remember when I had joined this place a 100 days ago, completely wrecked and wishing 'only if' my fiancee would revert to her idealizing self. Then it hit me recently - I thought about how difficult it would be for me to change MY personality... .it's so engrained in me so why would I expect her to change?

I suppose this falls into radical acceptance, that she is who she is.

I never thought I would be able to let go with understanding and empathy, but here I am starting to remember that life keeps going on.

Haha i have to say RR you joined about a month before me and ive followed your story so i think i should tell you you've been like a passive mentor to me, i appreciate your resolve and maturity in the face of what you went through. There's a copule guys/galls on here who i find myself going "hey well X delt with it too and they survived so i can pull through".

Thank you for your kind words SGraham! It's funny because I've been following your story too. It's great to see the ones from the leaving board moving on with their lives. Makes me wonder what's happened to all of those members who have come and gone
