Just wondering. I am in Rochester, NY and would love to meet in person with anyone else going through this. I love coffee! I am not sure if this is appropriate but I have found posting on here to be incredibly helpful and it would be nice to talk in person with others going through this. Anyhow, Mods if this isn't okay feel free to remove it. Just an idea but a sub forum where it was broken down by states and cities where other "survivors" could connect and possibly meet up would be an incredibly cool idea. This is a great support group.

Hi Todd
I think that the anonymity is one of the aspects that needs respecting on here. I can understand where your coming from as I also think that it would be nice to chat to someone who has been through what I have.
The problem with what you are suggesting though is that if an ex or a partner where to find this site then they may be able to track down their SO by location.
The chances of an ex or partner finding someone on here is slim but their is a possibility that they could read a posters internet history and find the site.

Have you looked for a local support group? I know that NAMI acts as a clearinghouse for some of these.
Here's a link for Rochester.
