Everytime my hwBPD is off on one of his semi-psychotic rages (these rages are not psychosis induced, but he is reacting to his feelings, which are not based in fact and are usually self-pity driven), I dream at night that I'm in a tornado. I'm always the first to notice the clouds building and I'm trying to get people to safety. In my last tornado dream ( last week) I had the choice of trying to pull a woman into the shelter while risking one of my kids' lives and mine. I chose to shut the door and she was swooped away. Hmm... .I would say that I have some guilt over setting boundaries, because hwBPD reacts to boundaries as if they were messages about abandonment. Even though I have learned to disengage with love when the rage starts, I guess the Rescue Ranger in me still has something to say!

Tornados are normally related to realizing there is nothing you can do other than seek shelter until it blows over I guess the latest one is about your inability to prevent others being affected.

Maybe it shows a high level of awareness but lack of confidence in your ability to handle the situation
