Hi everyone, I am new to this and in the middle of my relationship falling apart for the umpteenth time. It changes by the day whether he will come home or start new in another state supposedly for us but has completely disregarded any and all responsibility, personal items and bills where we live. I am not sure if he has BiPolar and BPD and addiction issues or what, but its pretty clear there is something very wrong. At times, he will even say he needs help, and then at others he says he is a man on discovery and wants to change his life. There is much much more but for now, I would be grateful to read some other journeys and learn as much as I can. I ultimately would like to remain with him however its becoming more and more clear that this pattern is getting worse with time, he is 50 and living out of his car and motels, while working as an appraiser. Thank you all for reading, even just writing that out helps me see that it is a sad situation that is beyond my scope. L

Your situation sounds very painful. Can you tell us more about your marriage? Do you have kids? Ages? How often is your husband in the same house living with you?
