Many chose to give up negative habits during Lent.  The challenge for posters is to give up TC (Toxic Contact) and adopt NC (No Contact) on this Lent.  Your BPD partner will not provide you with healthy validation and your BPD partner will provide you with unnecessary drama and turmoil.  I read here many examples of the broken hearts wasting their efforts on vague promises of a return to the glory days of idealization.   It won't ever happen.  This is a truth that sounds cold and cruel.  On the contrary - it is a truth that will set you free.
