The parenting one is very eye opening, as it gives a glimpse into what our current 30 and 40 something BPDs might have been acting like in their teens and twenties. My Ex said her mother always thought she was like a little child stamping her foot. She said that the term didn't literally translate into English. She keeps so much hidden, and lives in a secret emotional world, laregely hidden from outsiders. If her parents only knew of a few, key, things... .

My mother closer resembles some of the stories on Parenting.
