Hi All

After a couple of years of no contact I just learned that My ex-BPD contacted a good friend of mine who she met when we were together. It's important to note that she only knew her for a brief time and they fell out at the end of it all.

Why would she contact a friend of mine after so long? even the person she contacted is just as puzzled it's so crazy?

Although I am past any feelings for the disordered female I dated I am still somewhat facinated by BPD and my own issues so would like any feedback.

Thank you

It helps me to think:

It likely has nothing to do with me.  Whatever it is... .It is all about him/her.

Both very good replies and very true.

I have asked my friend to not reply to the communication and not mention it anymore. It's not fair on my current GF for her to hear things like that and only causes trouble.

Probably for the same reason as you are asking this question on the forum. Instead of just letting it go and not caring for her reasons.

Because we didn't let it go after the relationship ended. Smiling (click to insert in post)

After a couple of years of no contact why do you care? And who knows what is on the mind of a BPD.? They change their mind/behaviour/act every five minutes, so imagine after two years!
