'She wasn't good enough for me.'

So had a productive day, went to the Therapist and without much prompting, in fact without any, I put these words out there for the first time ever.
'She wasn't good enough for me.'
As with many of you I met mine at a terrible time in life, I thought she was my salvation before it turned out she really wasn't.
But I have been on a one year journey, despite her trying to keep me down, keep me small, which I think she genuinely did for her own benefit, I have outgrown her.
I now look back and genuinely believe she has amazing qualities, she could be a great person, but the sum of her parts? The bad part too? No, it is just not good enough for me.
We get so wrapped up in the condition, I did, the games. But today I really look at her as a whole person and I can't say I am impressed.
It feels liberating.
I was better than her, even at my worst, and now she wouldn't get five minutes of my time if I met her again, the person I am now.
It's the same thing everybody else is saying, focus on your own personal growth and suddenly everything that happened will be just a little diversion, a blip.
Then the person that you willingly gave your power too will suddenly look like a rather ridiculous, pitiful, one dimensional and pointless waste of time.

Thanks guys, there will be down days, but as I detach more and more I find myself just amused at myself for trying to make someone who just isn't capable of it to behave better, to be a better person.
She is what she is, and she doesn't deserve to be a part of my life.
