My Therapist might have had it right

My Therapist told me "If one of your friends treated you the same way as your wife, how long would you stay friends?". Not very long was my answer.

I had a friend that when I met my husband he said, why are you still friends with her, all you do is b___ about her? Eventually she did something that was unfreindable, But I had known her since grade school and she was pretty crummy then too.

My husband took her place a few months later, how could I not see it!
