Hello everyone Smiling (click to insert in post)

Wondering what if anything anyone has planned for the weekend. I've been so lazy after my last (encounter) with my exBPDgf. Rest, taking care of myself and working on my issues but still avoiding exercise and riding my bike or walking.

I have read so much here and it's all been so helpful in my recovery. And talking to others for support as well. What helps me most is when I think about my exgf I tell myself I am an addict and this really was just an illusion or a drug, either way very unhealthy.

Still hear my sponser "do you realize how sick you are to be in this relationship", he's brutally honest.

I told my pastor I still need validation sometimes, still confused and assume blame for not figuring out what to do to help her.

I asked him if he thought listening to rock and roll were good because the messages in that music can be a negitive influence. His response was laughter and said the music I listen to should be the least of my worries. Haha. Then I picture my exgf stalking me and get a chill up my spine.

She's out there, probably plotting more pain for me, she's steaming because I've cut her control over my life, she grew used to my unending attention and adoration.

The weather is awesome, 80s today and sunny.

What plans do you all have to get out and enjoy life?

This week has been really down and then up again with health and energy. The last 2 days it feels my ability to walk is improving (which has made me really notice how lopsided my pelvis has become) so I'm planning to move around my house as much as possible while cleaning (which in reality means little bursts of activity for a few minutes but hey ho), doing some small exercises and enjoying the weather on my balcony. And preparing for the next medical procedure on Tuesday.

The weather's lovely right now. It's going to be cooler this weekend, but still nice. Maybe a bit of rain.

My wife has our daughter for the weekend. They're going to do something for Mother's Day. I'll probably send her a text on Sunday to wish her a happy holiday.

Otherwise, the weekend is mine. The house is clean. I might binge-watch Game of Thrones, or go hang out with a friend, go for a drive or a walk. It's my time, and I want to enjoy it in peace.

Hopefully, my wife won't try to rope me in to whatever drama she stirs up with our daughter. That happens far too often. Maybe I'll turn my phone off all weekend!  Thought

Well, in few hours I am going to a bar where my friend is celebrating his birthday.

Also, my exBPDgf's friend is also celebrating there. It will be first time that I will see her after 3 months of NC.

I left 5 months ago but we had closure talk 3 months ago and she wanted to continue our r/s but I said that I can't.

Great weekend start! Smiling (click to insert in post)

Weekends are hard. :'(

Lately, I've made plans to go out and do all of the things I'd normally be doing with the XBPDgf, why should I stop?  As long as I steer clear of the areas that I know she usually frequents? I'm good to go.  I'm sad at some places and some activities,  but I cannot stay at home under the covers feeling sorry for myself which I HAVE DONE, not shaming anyone who is currently in this place, we all go there, I still go there on occasion.  Sunshine, fresh air and a little socialization does wonders.

Have a good weekend everyone, try and do one small thing that is good for you each day, no matter how small you think it is, any step forward is a really good step.

Peace,

CiF

Well, I have to work!  The worst thing about that is that I work in a small gas plant alone on the weekends!  Nothing but good old time to stew inside my brain and think about her!

I may visit my daughter this weekend or maybe my sister, we have speaker night at AA and pot luck. Tomorrow morning AA meeting with all the fun and laughs. Sunday church and may go to a craft and book store and buy myself something. I need new clothes but I put that off until I have too. Rode my bike to AA and went to lunch with my sponsor today. Just mowed my daughters lawn. I may sponsor a gentleman and this would be my first time but I'm ready.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend filled with peace and joy.
