Kind of strange discovery...

I was looking up my divorce info in the courts system locally to see what is written. I ended up looking at my exes gf's records out of curiosity. Oddly, he told me she got divorced on the grounds of adultery back in May of 2015... .there is no record of that! In fact, the only thing there is is a separation agreement between the two of them and her husband is the plaintiff. I am not sure if this means he asked for alimony or what? Point is... .she is not divorced after all this time... .what's up with that? She changed her name legally - supposidly. It's on facebook where you can check into the SS office, but we know that means nothing and would be easily faked... .I swear- my thought that she could be a BPD as well could be very true... .can you imagine? Just thought I would share this weird news... .No wonder mine wasn't in a hurry to get divorced!

Ok, I thought my divorce was complicated... .Here are the laws in my state; "If the mother cheated on her husband and gave birth to another man’s child, the child will initially be deemed to belong to the husband. During the divorce, one or both parties will have to prove to the judge that the husband isn’t the child’s father. The family court will appoint a guardian ad litem to protect the minor child’s interests since the case threatens to make a child illegitimate. If the identity of the suspected father is known, he must be made a party to any legal action in family court." What a mess... .Interesting to find out. Reminds me of a Jerry Springer show unfortunately. I guess a separation agreement in this state divides property. Remember, this girl left everything she had to be with my husband. Horses and all. Then got pregnant right away. Not sure why they are not filing for divorce, maybe money. I suppose this really makes my ex cringe on abandonment issues. Interesting case study- I sure hope none of you are going through this or ever have to. Another reason to hurry a divorce through... .and why I wanted to post. You never know what situation you can get into with them.

The law about a child being fathered by someone other than the husband is in Europe also.
It can be troublesome.

Hello Blue
Sorry you have to go through all this stress
I talked to my sponsor today about my exgf and the upcoming court date Monday. Told him about my exgf lying about 100 times in one week and he asked if I expected anything other than lies.
Nope no surprises from these folks, they never change

Seenr, very troublesome indeed!
Jerry, thanks... .it is not really my stress anymore. Sorry you are still going through yours. My girlfriend asked me tonight why am I surprised to hear he lied again. I said I am not... .I am just dumbfounded at how may there are. I suppose you feel the same way. My lawyer is starting to question everything he says now too. It's amazing. She said his lies are starting to catch up with him though... .at least with me. He can't do it anymore. I think you are figuring it all out too. Once we know that we can't believe anything they say, it's all over for them with us anyway. I hope court goes well for you. I am sure you are nervous about it, I know I was. Try and keep everything she says to you e-mail or text... .take a screenshot of your texts if you need to. I had everything... .down to his papers coming out of rehab where he admitted to needing to work on his lying problem. It's sad to have to pull that stuff out, but in your case I would think it's very important down the road.
