Cycling through emotions

Yesterday I was melancholy and sad-- I gathered up all our old pictures and enjoyed looking at them. The feeling was sad but not a terrible one. I missed our happy times. Today for some reason, I'm mad. I'm mad at her end of the relationship behavior, the splitting and the triangulation and the projection. I'm really mad that she either didn't remember my birthday or intentionally ignored it. I'm mad that she's mad at me. It weird how my emotions about it can change so quickly. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

I can relate. One minute up the next down. During the down moments I always remind myself that this will pass and soon I'll feel a little better again. Hopefully, those moments will start to become more frequent and before you know it we'll be back to our old selves, well-worn, but stronger.
