I’ve just come from a therapy session. Unknown to me the free sessions (under a health care initiative) have long expired, so she has been seeing me pro bono for weeks! In my heartbreak and depression haze I didn’t realise. She has now offered to continue to see me until I can reapply in January (hopefully, won’t need to by then) and I am so incredibly moved by her kindness. She says that I am worth it, have a lot to give and will go on to help others. She has a lot of faith in me that I can not only rebuild but thrive. I was incredibly moved and if that doesn’t encourage me to start taking those small steps I don’t know what will. To have someone tell me I’m worth it, that I can get through this, after all the devaluing meant the world to me. So I'd like to say the same to everyone here. You are worth it and you will get through this

Smiling (click to insert in post)  Your post brought a smile to my face, Larmoyant. What a wonderful gift.

Yes, you are worth that kindness and much, much more. We all are.

Good to see that there are good people out there.  I'm reading this just before going to work, and it's a reminder to help does who deserve to be helped.

Its also a reminder to be greatfull for having my friends and especially my family who love and support me.

Wishing everyone an amazing day!
