I know this is unscientific but I'm curious to see what responses I get. Thanks. By recycle I mean a genuine attempt and not simply a "how are you?" text message.

26 years later she found me on FB. Then in a suttle way put her feelers out to see if I was still interested. 2 years after that I stupidly took her bait and here I am. I had No Idea she was so mentally ill. So yep 28 years later . 2 months of crazy and discarded Sept 4 2015. She herself has not attempted any sort of recycle but I did get the fake FB messages. Blocked calls/ hangups on both my cell and home phone. All has been good now since August.

My exBPD routinely stopped talking to me and then would up up out of nowhere. She is in the same circle of friends as me and has been lurking in the background since the discard. At a MeetUp event a month or so ago she sat right next to my best friend in a movie theater (after she un-friended both of us on FB). He politely changed seats. I've also gotten the calls from mysterious numbers without a message, bizarre FB friend requests, and even a bizarre FB message. I used her name and then the account was deleted shortly thereafter.
I responded to a MeetUp invite close to a month ago and last week she also RSVPed. I might see her this weekend and I'm afraid her behavior will be bizarre and/or she'll try to attach onto me (please see me latest post).

After a year and a half, all I received was contact by proxy. App invites, Fake fb messages/requests, hang up calls/requests from his friends and also from strange/unknown numbers. A few weeks ago a friend of his called and wanted to meet up with me. When I refused the request I got sent an anonymous message telling me to 'eat s$it and die'
. I think at this point I have been split black permanently... .and that's ok. I made my peace by reaching out a year ago.
How are you doing?

I find it so crazy that they pull all this Fake FB messages/ Friends request. Hang up / and don't reach out themselves. Just keep on playing games. My ex wanted to remain friends after she discarded me last Sept. I was like hell no and at that time had no idea about BPD either. I can remember her when we were teens and we remained friends behind my Mothers back. How my ex would throw in my face who she was fooling around with etc. Then when I mentioned I had someone she had her older sister tell me Never to call the house again or she would call my mother. So I decided I was not going to go through that again with her so I'm glad I did not stay friends with her. So sorry you all have gone thru this .

If this was directed at me, I'm up and down but only 3 months out from her moving out after a 25-year r/s so things could be worse. There are so many horror stories here that I feel fortunate to be where I am. I've received exactly one email in the last six weeks and zero other contact - that email was to ask a question about personal belongings and keeping our pets. I hope to be in a stronger position should the moment arrive when she comes a-callin', but if I know anything about this woman I'm not worried.
Looking back I wish someone would have been recording my behavior on a daily basis to complete an eventual documentary. I honestly think it would have made an interesting film. I suppose I could start journaling now... .

Around 5 months, although there was one brief "contact" in the middle of that
But I literally got a message:
I miss you ❤❤❤
After 5 months out of nowhere and it started a recycle that night
I've never had NC longer than that but I've heard if yours is a recycler like mine you can never be too sure you've seen the last of them.
