First Post, potentially really long story

Hello all,
I found this board in a search for answers/understanding. I have a friend who is a clinical psychologist who suggested the person I was dealing with had dependency disorder and traits of BPD So, I'm wrestling with the idea of posting my full unedited experience with what I think is someone who has at the very least, BPD traits. The problem is the story is very long and it would be a detriment to leave parts out. I'm not sure if people have the patience and would want to read something as long as this would be... .It's up to 6 pages of a Word document now, haha.
I actually began writing it out earlier today and when I did, I started to wonder more and more why i wasn't aware or open to the issues in general, let alone possible BPD issues. So, are long posts of interest or are they generally glossed over?

Hi oceanyc-
And welcome! Having someone who exhibits traits of borderline personality disorder in your life can be very confusing and painful, depending on the severity and who emotionally enmeshed you are with this person. And you did find us, so it's significant for you, and we've all been there, we understand.
In general you'll get more response to any questions and more interaction if you keep posts relatively short, although posting the entire story can be cathartic too, and is pretty common for an introductory post. You do have a 66,000 character limit, noted at the bottom of the post, but let fly with what you have, and you may find after that you can be more brief.
Again welcome, and take care of you!

Hi oceanyc,
Welcome to the bpdfamily. Glad you found us and we want to hear your story any way you want to present it. However, it might be easier for us reading to respond if you do it in some installments since it's already 6 pages long. We might miss commenting on something if we get it all at one time. How about giving it to us one or 2 pages at a time?

Thanks for the replies. According to the handy character counter at the bottom i havent even used half of those allowed so maybe it isn't as long as i thought!
I'm going to finish it up with some questions and maybe breaking it up would be a good idea. My friends referred to it as an epic soap opera, so fair warning!

Actually I'm wondering if it might be better to send it to someone privately, who'd be willing, to see if they think it should be posted?
