This is awesome! Thanks for creating this new board
We are co-parents but there are some situations and feelings that are particular to step-parents and blending families.
Thanks for giving us our own place.

The bio parents must be tired of hearing us step-parents complain.
I'm going to have to get the hang of what topics to split up from co-parenting to step-parenting. The issues do seem to overlap.

Boy do I need this... .I have 3 children of my own, all adults on their own, and I have never had to experience anything like I have over the past 5 years with my SD. I have given my SD so much extra love and care and I am thankful that my biological daughter (who is only 2 yrs older) understands what I am trying to do and does not ever feel slighted. However, no matter what I do I am always her target and I am to the pt that it is affecting whether I even want to stay in my marriage and I love my husband with all my heart. My 1st husband passed away when my kids were teenagers and it was very difficult. I need some peace in my life at 52 and it is so hard to keep wanting to help her when her parents gloss over it and my SD does not see that she has a problem to address.

Post them all here. That really is the intent of the board, to be a base for step parents.

This was a great idea! Finally a natural home for all of us step parents. We certainly do have our share of unique challenges.
