Hi, all. My gf isn't diagnosed with BPD, but as a former sufferer, I recognize the signs clear as day.
Lately, she has been assigning feelings and assuming my thoughts... .to the point where she makes me feel responsible for her anger and displeasure with life, even though I walk on eggshells to make sure I don't trigger a negative response... .when I do this, she yells at me for not treating her 'normal'... .but when I treat her as she wishes (normal), she yells at me for not accommodating her. I asked if she was busy because she didn't respond to a text right away, and she accuses me of being 'posessive', when I simply wanted to know if it was a good time to text or not... .and today, even though I told her repeatedly that I was ok (and I was), she accused me of being mad at her and being 'negative' and making her feel negative, too. She always puts me in a position where I feel responsible for her emotional instability, when in reality, she has been emotionally unstable for at least a decade before I was with her. I told her this today, and she lit 8nto me. I finally told her I need space, and she seems hurt by this.

I don't know what to do.

Hi and welcome!

Yep - that's BPD!

There are many techniques you can learn that will reduce the conflict, and help you remain emotionally strong.

You say you "formerly had BPD"? Did you attend therapy? Do you consider yourself "cured"?
