Hi, I am the mother of a 17yr old daughter with depression, anxiety and now BPD.  My husband and I have a hard time being on the same page and setting limits.  Any suggestions?

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

My husband and I have had the same dynamic. It helps us to have help we go to together that he also respects, a marriage mentor couple and therapist. We're still rarely on the same page but are moving in that direction. Does he appreciate the advice he sees here on this board? Have you read books together? We've also read a couple BPD books together which generates discussion.
