Hello and welcome to the family.  That's a tough question to answer and unfortunately, a lot of your friend's situation will depend on her history with mental illness and what the future holds in terms of health and wellness.

When was she first diagnosed?  Has she been receiving treatment through therapy or medications?  How involved are you in her life?
