My doctor put me on a low salt diet. My wife translates that as a no salt diet. I have to sneak salt behind her back, so I can get enough (Min 2000mg per day, per all doctors I have seen) She has caught me a few times and I re-iterate that I need more salt. My calculations show I am getting between 500 and 1000mg.
I asked her to tell me how much minimum salt I need, and she refuses to answer, even though she has been with me at every doctor's visit. I had a 77 over 40 at one visit due to dehydration.
So instead of having a discussion, she yelled and threw things then cancelled our 20th anniversary. I had a trip to San Diego planned, but she turned that down.
So what do I do? I bought gifts, but I do not know if I should give them to her. Maybe I should just treat it as another day?
