Hi everyone,

I have been looking through some of the success stories which are so encouraging and raise my spirits. However, I am wondering if there are any success stories where a BPD ex returned and it worked out? If I need to go into detail about what has been happening in my situation, I can, but essentially, right now we are in consistent contact with one another.

Thanks so much for your help

I was able to save my relationship from break-up with my ex that brought me here. Later, I decided that I didn't want that relationship (non-BPD related) and moved on.

Also, by learning as much about BPD and communication skills as I could, I have been able to develop a friendship with my BPD ex-wife, to whom I hadn't spoken in 10 years. She spent the past decade thinking that I was a monster, but now sees me in a completely different light. We've even talked about getting back together at some point in the future. Neither of us is in a hurry to repeat the past however.
