I am the adult daughter of a quiet borderline mother.  I spend much of my time with my gut in knots worrying that I've said the wrong thing or not said the right thing and that she's going to hurt herself.  The anxiety keeps me from enjoying life very much and has led to social isolation and a smart phone addiction as a coping mechanism. I miss being happy. It's nice to know you all are here.
