Trying to save my 40 yr relationship with my BP wife. Been going to couples Counseling w a fantastic women named Mel Smith who has saved us from more then a few breakups in the last 4yrs we've been seeing her. She is the 1st person to ever suggest the word BPD to us.
Found this site through the book- Stop walking on eggshells.
   More later I'm sure.

Hi Notgoneyet

Welcome.

You're not alone with this relationship with a difficult partner. That you describe her as someone with BPD traits--we understand--will make things more difficult for you. I don't know what your experience has been exactly, but I appreciate how difficult this relationship must be for you.

I'm glad to see that this couples counselling has been productive for you to get what you want. How is your relationship going for you so far? We're here to help--part of that is helping people to figure out what's next. What's next for you?
