Sorry to hear that your mom has BPD traits.  What are some of the traits exhibited?

My dad had some BPD traits.  I experienced some very distressing times with by sister, after the death of our parents.  

There is a lot of helpful information here and lessons.  There is a thread on "Lessons" tacked to the beginning of this thread, a large green band at the top of the page with a "Tools Menu", and a few more lessons and a Survivor's Guide in the right-hand margin.  Take a look around and get comfortable.  This is a safe place to share.
