Learning that my ex has BPD but is in denial about it. After a tumultuous relationship and even worse series of breakups, I find that my head is kind of a mess. I'm questioning so many things related to all of this and feel weird and battered. Like some kind of PTSD - is that too dramatic a description? Looking for help maneuvering it all. Thanks for any insight, advice, etc.

It felt like a cult being involved with Xw and her family, everything revolved around xw's family and never anything with my family. When things started falling apart, Xw sister called me and started saying " we are the family that loves you, we are the ones you should want to be with, we are the only ones that love you" that was creepy, than Xw mother started saying " why can't you put your family out of your life and be with us, we did it ( meaning xw's parents put their whole extended family out of their lives, parents, siblings, the whole clan) so why can't you?"and when that didn't work, Xw, her parents and sister started threatening me with physical violence. It was all very crazy. Today Xw, her parents, sister and my replacement hate me and Xw denies any such actions ever took place. Very bizarre.

That's a good way to describe it... lots of push pull mine had two personas male and a female side to him,,,
His sister seemed to control him as if he had no mind of his own... .she thought I would burn a house down if we ever broke up... ,woman never met me
It's just all so strange to me
